Reservation Policy & Fabric Costs
To guarantee your enrollment in all workshops, classes/courses, payment is required in full.
To secure a birthday party or special event, payment is required in full.
Fabric costs in Camps and Term classes are NOT included in the tuition. The average fabric cost is $30-50*.

Withdrawals, Transfers & Cancellation Policy
La Movida allows withdrawals or transfers up to 10 days prior to the start date of any workshop or course. Students who withdraw may apply 100% of their tuition to a future workshop or course, or receive a full refund less a 15% administration charge. If the request takes place within 10 days La Movida will issue a 50% refund or credit to be used at a future date. Once a course has begun, no refunds will be issued. There is a $15 administration fee for any transfer. All class transfers are based on availability.
Birthday Parties are non-refundable, but parties within 14 days notice can be rescheduled for a later date within 12 months.
Should the studio need to cancel a class, workshop or course due to low enrollment, all students will be notified in advance by email, and full refunds will be issued. Students choosing to transfer can do so free of charge.
Absences
Adult Classes: La Movida Sewing & Design Studio DOES NOT offer make up classes or refunds for adults who miss their scheduled classes.
Youth Classes: La Movida will do our best to accommodate a missed class with an alternative class. This will be based on availability and must be made up within 14 days of the missed class. All makeup classes are $15. La Movida can accommodate up to two makeup classes per session.
Fashion Design Classes: Missed design classes can only be made up based on availability in another design class. All makeup classes are $15. La Movida can accommodate up to two makeup classes per session.
Release of Liability & Medical Emergencies
Hold Harmless Agreement: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the La Movida Sewing & Design Studio programs, I agree to assume all risks connected therewith. I agree to release and discharge in advance the La Movida Sewing & Design Studio, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for personal injury. I also assume full responsibility for my or the minor child I have registered behaviour and agree to pay for all damages to property or person caused by the aforementioned. If a participant’s behaviour interferes with the program, I understand that expulsion from the program is a possible consequence.
The La Movida staff or volunteers cannot be held liable for personal injury or loss, theft, or damage of personal property. An electronic signature on this registration form implies understanding of all policies noted.
Permission for Medical Treatment: In case of an accident or injury, I authorize a staff member of the La Movida to call the 911 emergency number. I give my consent to any medical treatment felt necessary by an attending physician for the physical well-being of myself or the minor child I have registered. I further understand that the responding medical emergency team will provide emergency treatment as they deem necessary for the safety and protection of myself or the minor child I have registered at my expense.
Consent to Photograph or Film
Consent to Photograph and Videography: I agree to have photographs, films, videotapes, taken of me or the minor child I have registered while participating in the La Movida Sewing & Design Studio programs. I permit these photographs, films, or tapes to be used in publications, promotional materials, web site, and for other purposes by the La Movida Sewing & Design Studio. If I do not consent, staff leading the program for which I am registered must be informed of and record my non-consent.
Consent to Newsletter Signup
Consent to email addresses collected and used for marketing purposes. If I do not consent, I am required to inform La Movida with written notice with my non-consent.
