We’re opening pre-orders for the holiday season! Because each onesie pattern is individually sized for an accurate fit, pre-ordering helps us ensure we have enough stock for all students and makers.

Originally developed for our youth sewing classes, this pattern has been student tested and approved—over 60 students have successfully sewn their own custom onesies, transforming them into animals, characters, and more.

Sewing Level: Confident Beginners

Sizes: 11 sizes available for chest sizes between 26-46″. See our size chart for more details. Designed to fit ages 8+, this pattern is based on chest measurement and includes a cozy, oversized fit with 4″ of ease. If you’re unsure about sizing, feel free to contact us or drop by the studio—we are happy to help.

Pattern Features:
This beginner-friendly design includes:

• Raglan sleeves
• Dropped crotch
• Button placket
• Inseam pockets
• Attached hood

The construction is straightforward: sew the sleeves to the body, attach the pockets, sew the side seams and inseam, then finish with the button placket and hood.

Fabric Requirements:
Main Fabric: 3–5 meters of polar fleece (depending on pattern size)

Notions: 8 snap sets, 0.5 meter of fusible interfacing, 2 spools (100m) of matching thread, fabric marker or tailors chalk, fabric scissors, ruler, sewing pins, quilters clips (optional)

This Pattern will include: 1 Paper sewing pattern size and full written instructions designed by sewing instructors—clear, simple, and suitable for ages 8+ and all skill levels
