Kids Afterschool Care in Kitsilano

When we think of after school programs for kids, we aim to accomplish something more than just a day care. While there are tons of kids classes and arts after school care programs that you can drop your kid off at, kids sewing is quite a unique program to try.

These are the reasons that our Youth After School Sewing Classes are the best:

The skills learned in our after school program are useful beyond gaining a deeper understanding of your clothes and making a new outfit.

Sewing helps young kids learn long term goal setting, problem solving skills, patience, as well as dexterity. This Afterschool program has the pillars of being montessori.

If your kid is not sporty and has trouble with traditional after school care, we find they thrive in our after school sewing program.

We are super Neurodivergent friendly as Laurie (our founder) has two daughters who grew up learning how to navigate having ADHD & Dyslexia.

Our program isn’t competitive and supports kids in their ability to express themselves.

We truly get some of the best students and in our classes we get to see them make life long friendships.

We make new sewing projects all the time so you will never get bored of making the same thing.

Our classes are designed to be paced at a rate that leaves your kid feeling accomplished and proud of their work. So they can leave their sewing class and say “I made this”.

We offer multiple different time slots for sewing classes here in Kitsilano. Even if your kid has never sewn before they can join us to learn how to make their own patchwork pants or skirt this spring term.

We also do tons of Pro-D Day workshops and summer camps here in Vancouver.

If you are interested you can learn more about our Kids after school programs like our Hand sewing classes, Illustration, Fashion design program, and our youth sewing after school course!

Truely our kids sewing classes are one of the best kids activities in Vancouver, BC.
